Once our report is complete and has met the requirements set by the council, you are ready to lodge your building or development application.

A flood report is generally required when your property is located within one of Council’s Cityplan Overlays. The Cityplan Overlays can be viewed on Council’s interactive mapping website.
The cost of a flood report can vary depending on the complexity of the flood modelling required. It would be best to contact us so we can talk through the flooding requirements. We can often give you an initial indication of a price over the phone or via an email before validating the estimate with a formal fee proposal.
Our average turn around time on a project is about two weeks. This accounts for projects already in our pipeline as well as the time it takes to undertake your assessment. We will give a more accurate estimation of timing on our formal fee proposal.
A flood report would provide you with an assessment of the different sources of flooding and design criteria to comply with the local Council’s flood code. Our report can generally be used to complete design plans and lodge an application with Council.
